Re: CLIP's test of virtue -- and memory immunization?

One small caveat on moving SGs to frames: if your SGs contain UseStyle
commands (as mine did), they throw U2 into a tailspin, since the Style
has not previously been Saved: Invalid formatting command! (perfectly
logical, had I but thought it through). One could make sure a SS SG was
loaded first, but I'm not sure what effect that would have on U2.

On another aspect of Clip, I can do something with it that I cannot with
Windows' native copy and paste. My e-mail app (proprietary, supplied by
my ISP) won't permit one to copy from a message in the in-box to the
Subject line of a message one is writing. Probably trying to hinder
spammers, not that it does much good. You have to copy to the message
part, then you can cut and paste to the Subject line. I always forget and
try to paste to the SL. Today, I was looking at my e-mails in XyWrite
instead of the e-mail app, and used Clip to copy the Re: (getting the
digest, I cannot just hit Reply: the threads get all tangled), tried to
paste to the SL--and Lo and behold it worked! No nasty little "Ding" and
a blank line, but the subject right where it belonged. Kudos to Robert,
and one in the eye to BBG and his willing slaves.
