That was probably the Star Office suite, available from Star Division
at http://www.startdivision.de. This site's in German, but there's
an obvious link to their US site.
(Or of any other interesting word processor for
>Linux, or [not UNIX, I realize] BeOS?)
I've heard strange and wondrous things about something called LyX,
which seems to be a LaTeX front end for Linux. Info and links at
http://la1ad.uio.no/~larsbj/lyx.shtml.
BeatWare At http://www.beatware.com is working on word-processing
and spreadsheet suites for Be. Be aware that the Be OS itself is
still in beta, and a lot of developers seems to be holding off on
committing resources and announcing apps until it goes gold. There is
a port of Doom, though.
