I'll post a version of the XyDos macro soon (busy weekend ahead - my teenager's band has a gig I want to go to...). As for the printer problems, we're printing successfully to an HP L6 from XyDos running under Win95, using the L4 printer driver. What we need from Arthur is his printer brand and model number; one of us has probably wrestled with the demons already.
