Because I don't know what Orbis (xydos) can't do, its hard to answer.
Here are the first few help menus from orbis nb. Maybe you can compare and
report. When indexing files, you can choose any file mask over files in 16
different directories, or select files one at a time from a directory tree and
directory lists.
