Yes you do need to see it in context sometimes (labor/labour)
to know if it is an error. But maybe the solution is the have two
Xy windows open, one with the original one with the "hits" file
and do a little manual checking. I guess it depends on how
frequently this problem arises. Maybe
Carl's pgm is sophisticated enough to help automate even this.
Re accursed rodents. I'm a touch-typist. One of the reasons I
love Xy is that I can map the kbd to accelerate that--e.g., one
terrific aid is that I make the [ key put out backspace-delete. I
can reach the [ without leaving the "home keys." It's amazing
what a convenience that one little thing is. I also put delete
onto the ] key--less often needed, but still ...
And I map the cursor control keys into something like the old
Wordstar diamond (if you recall that). I also have convenient
control key assignments for beginning and end of line. All this
let's me FLY on the keyboard.
So the basic reason I don't get along with mice is that I
don't have a third hand. I want the two hands I came equipped
with to remain near the "home keys."
