If you want to beat Word, better features and better filters
won't do it. All TTG has to do to take over the market is to
put XyWrite free on 14 million computers.
None of the computer-mag digerati have noticed the payoff
from Microsoft's cornering the word processor market: if you
don't get Word free (i.e., if you don't pay for it as part
of the cost of the computer), it costs quite a lot more than
WordPerfect, etc.
