Kenneth Frank:
I may be outvoted by more knowledgeable people, but there are a
number of HTML editors available free or at a low price, and it
is not clear that an upscale one will have a great deal of
impact. There was an evaluation of them, from the free version
of HotMetal to the expensive ones, in PC Mag a couple of issues
ago. It is also relevant that Word already supplies a free one,
and WPW has one almost ready.
ON THE OTHER HAND, an integrated HTML editor would be a strong
selling point for an ad campaign to sell lots more copies of
XyWrite, perhaps coupled with a push to get it into the computer
stores. Such campaigns are more effective if there is a news
angle, and the HTML editor might be it.
