Thanks once again for a masterly job. There are all sorts of useful
characters there that were not, apparently, part of the original PS spec
(upper and lowercase thorn and eth, for instance). 250 is not meant to
be, but could easily be used as, a bullet, by increasing its size
proportionally in an XPL routine.
I hate even to mention it, but is there some easy way to make superior
figures smaller than regular ones? From what infinitisimal bits of PS I
remember (from years ago, when I had a PS printer and tried to learn the
language) shouldn't one be able to add a scalefont command to the
Superior on and off segment? (If it were just numbers, one could do it
on the fly with an XPL routine, but I'm thinking of the automatically
generated ones used in footnotes.) IF it's complicated, forget it.
Robert has already done so much for this list....
