Ask Google for your nearest Linux User Group. (I'm assuming total
innocence of Linux.) Go to a meeting & ask for help -- the problem
discussed in this thread is exceedingly common.
Dual boot, so you can run either of 2 OSes. Install whatever Linux
distribution is most popular in the LUG. . . . Distros are all the
same in the kernel; the differences lie in installation method,
default configuration, & bundled programs.
Run MS's OS when you must. Learn however much Linux you need, & plan
your escape.
