When I try to launch XyWin the XP task manager says I have launched

This is really rather important because if I cannot run XyWrite I can't
upgrade to Windows XP, which I want to do because of all ME's memory
problems. I have even bought the upgrade and a new scanner .
NotaBene is often mentioned here as a XyWin stand-in. I have it running on
XP, as do many on this list.
