On converting: There's a program or Macro or command that a Xywrite expert
David Rothman arranged to send me called LP[space] e-mail.prn , at least
that's the command, that strips out most of the Xyrite symbols. then you save
the document as a .doc extension, and it should be pretty convertible to
Word. I don't know where or how to obtain the e-mail.prn program, or Macro,
or command, or whatever it is, but if someone knows, it's pretty damn useful,
because it converts your Xywrite text to a pure ASCII format with no funny
symbols embedded in it.
      To convert from Word to Xywrite, I've found it simple enough to
just go to "Save As", rename it as a .txt document, and hit it to save in the
Text format or plain text format, and that should work. But since I'm not a
Xywrite expert, I'll let other people's views prevail. But those procedures
have worked fine for me for years. Sincerely, Art Levine.
