Industry standard? I’m not certain what you mean. I’m certain it would be necessary for a modern XyWrite to keep it’s original file output format for it’s original purpose, but it would also be very desirable for it to capable of saving files in one of the universal formats. Perhaps having the classic ‘hands on’ keyboard editing with a modern format capability may be an attraction for many new users.
