Task Switchers

I've been wondering about that myself. According to the Que book I got
when I bought DOS5 ("Upgrading to MS DOS 5"), there is a way to use hot
keys to switch tasks--but they don't tell you what it is, the skunks.
Maybe you have to use macros somehow. When I've had more time to
investigate I'll let you know.
My initial impression is that the DOS5 switcher stores the
"snapshot" of each task on disk, not in extended or expanded RAM--a
slow method. The two switchers I'm familiar with, Back & Forth and
Software Carousel, offer many more options in that respect.
Incidentally, anyone using Software Carousel who wants to use DOS5
must upgrade to SC 5.01.5.0(oops, I mean 5.01), which can entail
downloading a file from the Softlogic BBS.
