That should be an easy one.

"Sharing violation" means that you're working on the same file with 2
programs. This is originally a way of preventing 2 people from changing the
same file at the same time unbeknownst to each other.

For example, if you open a file in Xy, and open the same file in Word, Xy
will refuse to save it because it's still open in Word. Close Word, and you
will then be able to save it in Xy.
