You will notice quite a lot of difference in speed. Shelling to DOS is more or
less instantaneous on a DX2-66, and that is not much faster than 50. Of course
you can save time by saving all files before shelling, so it doesn't ask you
about saving them in *.TMP files. The SL function will do that, and can be
assigned to a key.
As for color, the real question is whether you are dissatisfied with BW.
