Dear Carl
Wengier has just posted about a new version of vDos-lfn that hides the
pointer when you type, but re-discovers it when you move the mouse.
That is pretty much ideal for my purposes and might suit yours too.
However I could probably live with mouse hidden only in full screen if
that provided additional flexibility elsewhere.
We'd better both try the new version and report back.

Paul,
This may be a request too far, but is there a way of hiding the mouse
pointer when typing in vDos-lfn?
I've had similar thoughts. I would like the mouse pointer to be hidden,
but only when XyWrite is full-screen. When Xy is windowed you can
simply move the mouse pointer out of the way; and besides, you need the
mouse if, for example, you want to move the window. But even when Xy is
full-screen, I still want the mouse pointer to be visible in my second
monitor. How do you feel about these details?
