With the native command, yes. With the U2 replacement command, no. The U2
replacement SEarch/CHange is so much more powerful, that once you get used to
it, there's no going back. But the /NV switch has a very specific and limited
meaning, namely that it resumes wild filemask searches where they left off. If
for example you issued
se d:\path\*.txt|search$|
and then decided to Stop or Open a file, you can resume the search with
the_next_ [Z-order] file by issuing
se /nv d:\path\*.txt|search$|
Whereas, if you reissue the original command
se d:\path\*.txt|search$|
you just start at the top again (a longstanding complaint about the native
command). Try it, you may like it.
