OM Variable

I would like to write a macro to be able to toggle between the PCLEXAM and the
Microlytics dictionaries, depending on the current state of the UD variable
(defined in the beginning of the file).

The PCLEXAM is loaded as the default, as decribed in "Making the Transition",
in the SETTINGS.DFL file with:

;For PCLEXAM dictionaries DF LX=c:\xy4 DF UD=francais DF OM=0

and then in my text I define: default UD=US default OM=2 load pers.spl+eng.spl

The Microlytics does not function properly, i.e. the alternative spelling of
words do not appear in the Window.

What am I doing wrong? As long as I stick to the PCLEXAM only (UD=US or
FRANCAIS) everything is working well.

I have not found any explanation concerning the different values the OM
variable can take. What are they and what are their exact meaning?
