Correction to all those caveats about Word 2000: I simply opened the
original Word 2000 file in Word 2000 and saved it (fast-saved turned
off) again as a native file, and that opened without any error in
NBWin. So at least fairly simple Word 2000 files present no problem to
NBWin's filters...
