Re: Conversion from xy4dos to xy4win

My suspicion is that the DOS file has a typeface name that is either not
supported in Windows or is the same as a graphics-character typeface in
Windows. XyDOS uses Bitstream Speedo fonts; Windows uses TrueType. The two are
incompatible. Check your XyDOS file for font names (if none, check the
defaults). Change to something like Courier (just as an experiment) and then
open the file in XyWin. Let us know what happens. Buona fortuna.
