Sorry, I misread your message. It is possible that your
saveget file is corrupted. That would be the first thing I would temporarily
remove. The easiest way to test everything is to rename STARTUP.INT and then
start Xy. Open the renamed file, and then manually enter one command at a time.
You'll see exactly what file it stumbles on. I'm not sure what that 'mx' is
doing on line 3. Looks suspicious to me.

Subject: Help with "Not Enough
Memory"
I'm a longtime XyWrite user who
recently tried to install the Xywrite for Windows a new Dell machine running
Windows 2000. All went well with the installation. When I try to launch the
program, XyWrite loads but then a "There is not enough memory to perform
function" screen comes up. The program then freezes. I kill it with Task
Manager.
Okay,
Here's what is in my Xwstart.int file.
DEFAULT DR=C:\XW;*; LOAD C:\XW\XWU3.U3;*; mxLOAD
C:\XW\XWUIF.UIF;*; LOGIN JIM;*; LOAD C:\XW\PERS.SPL;*; LOAD
C:\XW\XWMENU.MNU+C:\XW\XWDLG.DLG;*; LOAD C:\XW\XWSET.DFL;*; LOAD
C:\XW\DICT.HYP;*; LOAD C:\XW\JIM.KBD;*; UWF 2;*; LDSGT
C:\XW\SAVEGET.SGT;*; DSORT F;*; C:;*; CD
\WORK;*; NEW;*;
Any suggestions??? I've gotten XyWrite to run on
everything from NT to XP.
Thanks.
