RE: scroll lock key

Harry,
I'm assuming you are doing this from XyWrite?  Though I am able to bypass this with Robert's "toggle" of Fn+F11, I am curious now about reassigning other keys.

Thank you.

Mimi,

Just pick some other key that you know the scan code of and redefine it to be ToggleScroll:

nn=ts

There's no magic in function TS being on that key.

By the way, DO NOT enter func ts (on the command line, as a command), because you won't be able to get out of it without having a key that's assigned TS per above.

This is the first time on my new Toshiba Qosmio laptop that I have found myself looking to no avail for the much needed "Scroll Lock" key.  Apparently there is no such key, unless it is a toggle key, or represented as a cryptic symbol on one of these keys.  I'm not sure what other info to give - but perhaps this will be enough to get started.  I need to write a program in XyWrite and of course need to use this wonderful key.  I hope it has not become defunct for Windows XP??

Thank you.
