How does that work exactly? Can you give an example? When I try
it, all I get is an Ascii-7 at the cursor position. No beep.
Unless you mean "BX dos/nv/x/z /c echo {7}Q2 " or, in Xy3,
"BC dos /c echo {7}XC ". That works, of course, but requires
shelling to DOS -- an awful lot of overhead for a simple beep. In
v4+, a straight-forward "BX beepQ2 " will do.
