A peculiar problem, because it appears that SETUP.PS *is* being creating (by the same basic, native Xy4 procedure as the BATfile) in the directory of GSWIN32.EXE (is it? please check). Aw fooey. I know what's wrong. We rewrote TMPFILE (the frame that generates a random filename for the BATfile) in October; Carl and I both have that new routine, and you two don't. Shoot! My fault. Using the old v117 version of TMPFILE, I too get the same result: BATfile not created. So that's the fix: new version of TMPFILE. THEREFORE: attached are new versions of TMPFILE and (a slightly revised) TYP, in a single file (NEWTYP.FRM). Make a backup copy of U2, just in case. Then store the attached file as NEWTYP.FRM, CAll NEWTYP.FRM into a XyWrite window, DeFine the entire file (consisting of two frames) top to bottom, command ADD2U2 -- and then try TYP (not PAULTEST) again. You should be home free. Let me know. R. ----------------------------- Robert Holmgren holmgren@xxxxxxxx ----------------------------- Attachment: NEWTYP.FRM
