AR.PGM

I am using your AR.PGM (attached to message 2799) with 3.56. It's working
fine. I especially like the fact that it's a toggle.
I'm heavily dependent on AR because I have to type with one hand. I count on
AR to complete the dozens of abbreviations contained in my PERS.SPL file.
AR.PGM makes 3.56 usable.
More recently I tried Robert Holmgren's intriguing keyboard program described
in AUTO-AR.TXT. I can't make the first loading instructions work. The
keyboard program entries sometimes appear on the CM and sit there. It isn't
clear to me where the function call @B is that PV00 is loaded into -- if that
makes any sense. And I'm probably not utilizing
@A correctly.
However, the alternative loading method (putting a mysterious string in the
startup file) does work to provide AR. Maybe some day I'll understand why.
But there is a serious problem on this computer. Every now and then pushing
the space bar pulls the next paragraph up, like delete. At the same time it
turns INSERT off. This makes it impossible to work in a kbd file, for example.
The condition may or may not be overcome by QUITting and reloading XyWrite.
I assume that the keyboard entries for Ctrl+Alt R and O cause this strange
behavior, but I don't understand them and don't know whether that's possible.
