Try this: CAll U2. Display in eXPanded mode. Find frame {{5typ}}. Go near
the bottom of the frame, where it says "BX dos/nv/x/z /c kmd /c Q2 ".
Put your cursor right *after* the function Q2. On CMline, command "EX"
(that inserts an command at this spot in the frame). Command
LOADHELP.
Now run TYP against a small file. Go to DOS. Navigate to Editor's directory.
Command:
DIR *.BAT /o:d
The last listed BATfile will be the BATfile created by TYP (it will have a
wierd filename, eight random letters + ".BAT"). Execute that BATfile *from DOS
Prompt*, so that you can see any error msgs that result. Should tell you what
is wrong. (It is possible that you need to remove the archive bit from some
directory... On the XyWrite CMline, try commanding:
dir c:\progra~1\gs\gs8.50\bin\GSWIN32.EXE
Can XyWrite see the file? If not, then its either a bad filespec, or an
archive bit getting in the way.)
