Before you try anything virtual or multibooted, I suggest opening the 32-bit Win7 and transferring
over your XY setup from Win XP. I think you can click on editor.exe or whatever .bat file you use to
open XP and you will be asked if you want to run that with a CMD prompt.
I had to use XP mode in 64-bit Win7. But 32-bit Win 8.1 just runs my old XY. So maybe 32-bit
Win 7 will do the same.
If not...looks like you have plenty of other options.
