  No, it wasn't the comparative intuitiveness, or lack thereof,
of the commands and keystrokes -- it was the fact that all those
other wps had menus to nurture the novice, and XY didn't. You had
to pretty much memorize everything. And that's the same roadblock
that stopped most people from learning DOS -- rote memorization
of a multitude of arcane commands, or constant referral to the
manual. Thus -- those who don't like learning anything new
latched onto windoz. Sort of the same mentality that buys how-to
videos instead of reading a book -- too much TV has cost them the
ability to actually read and comprehend.
