This virus is spreading like wildfire right now. It is known as the
"W32.Sircam.Worm@mm" and information is available about it on the Symantec
and TrendMicro websites. The latter site gives instructions on how to fix it
and/or prevent it from damaging files on your hard disk. Here is the address
of their page:
http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=TROJ_SIRCAM.A
This is one to take seriously.

Subject: off list virus question
to all the virus fanatics out there, may I ask one question?
Lately I have received several messages which say:
"Hi! How are you=3F
I send you this file in order to have your advice"
and contain some sort of binary. Is this a commonly
known virus, or hoax? I have tried to research it with
no luck so far.
