First, let me thank you for taking the trouble to answer my question. I did not explain myself correctly, it seems. I know who to get italics on the printed copy, as well as the other features, bold, etc. My question has to do with how did I get italics, bold, etc., on the screen, as well as the type face Dutch, or almost any other typeface that I chose? I was able to do this quite easily in the past, but I now forget how that was done, but I do recall that it was a beautiful screen. Was there a U2 routine that I invoked? ?? Can someone remind me how to change the screen font so as to permit italics. I use the factory mapped key ctrl-I (letter I) before the next character typed, which will be in italic, then press the keys again to end the section. The embedded markers in the text show
MD+IT at the beginning and MD-IT) at the end.
