Thank you, Carl and Robert, for a fascinating and informative
disquistion. I think if I really study Robert's examples, I may finally
get SXs and SVs straight.

I used to have a load of permanent SGs, in which I stored various
formatting code and boilerplate text; but after hearing about the burden
SGs place on memory, I moved them into a fishtank and access them with
FISHOUT. Really just as convenient, esp. if one's F2 key (for invoking
SGs) is up top instead of at the left.
