I notice that there is an applet named "poolmenu" running while the ripples
in a pool effect is showing. Presumably that suggests that it is on
purpose and planned. Whether it is well programmed or not...beyond me !

Hmmm . . . did you mean that that "rippling water" effect was simply
*accidental*, the result of a poorly written Java app. ? Intended or
not,
I don't recall seeing anything quite like that before.
Maybe that ill-behavior had something to do with NS 4.61 crashing
when I tried to print out a page of product specs.
