Small problem with U2 routing

Dear Carl

The routine WCAF that you wrote for me many years ago seems to miss the
first file, at least in format I write them. I use the search term
Chapter.* to carry out a word count on chapter.1, chapter.2 etc but it
always starts and 2. (It used to work.) Any ideas?
