I'm not sure whether 9 is 16 or 32 bit, but here's what
their site says re 10:
"Nota Bene 10 is our
totally reworked next-generation version that runs natively on 64-bit
versions of Windows, without requiring virtual mode. It is now available
in a 'beta' release."
I find 9 to be pretty good, except for working in
bottom-of-the-page footnotes while in page-view mode. A lot of times it
simply crashes while I'm doing that. Work is lost that way. But I do
appreciate Autosav(n).tmp in that regard.
Running XPL, NB 9 is slow. But only a handful of us do that.

1. Which version of NB do you have?
2. Don't you mean waiting for the 64-bit version?
[>] I might be a bit unknowing here, but I thought they were building a 32-bit version, which is to say eliminating the original 16-bit architecture. Perhaps the cognoscenti can weigh in on this. I have V9.
