Jim Eberle's account of the cursor keys and number keypad was an
eye-opener. This is purely XP (and Win 2K?). Under 98, the number pad
keys are cursor keys unless one has numlock turned on--in Xy and in
anything else.
I too have a working mouse in XyDos under Win 98. Not that I usually use
it; I consider mousing a form of torture (I like cats, but I'm not one).
But it works. Of course, one has to set df ur=1 in SETTINGS.DFL for XY to
recognize the mouse movement.
