Hurrah for Robert's cursor tweak! Very nice, esp. on the laptop, where I
frequently have a hard time finding the cursor if I've had to look away.
Many thanks. Now has anyone any ideas on solving the Case of the
Vanishing Cursor? I mean when it just disappears: one isn't (usually)
locked up, one can move about and issue commands, and sometimes the
cursor is visible in other open files, but in one file there is no
cursor. Sometimes one can get it back by switching from draft to expanded
mode and back, or by hitting CTRL-Home or CTRL-End, but sometimes there's
nothing for it but to store everything, shut down, and start over. I
suppose it's a case of Xy conflicting with a VGA driver in one of the
UMBs, and therefore probably insoluble, but...

PS I don't think Dr. Sarkoff was a villain, though. As I recall, he was
the Mr. Spock of the piece--scientist sidekick, so to speak.
