My typewriter came with a set of LP's to teach touch typing. I learned to type that way, although
eventually the top (numeric) row fell away from my kinaesthetic map.

Hmmm. That *is* a rather comforting font.
Do you have something to simulate the sound, too?
The klackety sound when you're on a roll with a typewriter is much more rewarding, stimulating or
encouraging than the dull thuddy sound of Mac keyboards.
