Re: XP & malware

I was perfectly content with an old version of Firefox, and I just updated and I find the latest version a pain in the ass. Like with a lot of software, the allegedly improved versions are harder to use and make the simple and uncomplicated nearly impossible. Here's a question: how do you close Firefox and keep all your tabs intact for the next time?

What is the most recent reliable version of Firefox?

I'm still using Firefox 3.6. (I use Chrome, too, but on balance haven't found it as fast or as reliable as Firefox.)  I've been reluctant to try one of the more recent versions of Firefox because so many people have had difficulties with them.

It might be time to ditch IE in favor of Firefox, which is not only a better product, but more importantly not dependent on the whims of MS. Third-party support for XP will be continuing for a long time.
