Kim, Version IV currently allows you to bring in a graphic in PCX, TIFF, and
PCL format straight from the graphic software. In Version IV you are required
to enter a "Frame Area" command which denotes the graphic filename and also
allows you to scale, crop and position the graphic, all in the same command. As
far as confusion for the users, they would only need to familiarize themselves
with this command (which is subject to change). Although Xywrite IV is a
graphics based processor, it still has not relation to the creation of the
actual graphic. Assuming the graphic fits the required format as noted above,
you are only required to inform Xywrite as to the filename and any additional
parameters regarding its placement and size. Regarding the Windows 3.0 fix in
the current version of Xywrite III Plus...The fix is incorporated in 3.56 and
relates to keyboard handling problems only. This fix does not make Xywrite a
"Windows" version, sorry.. there is a free upgrade within III Plus to this
version. FYI...IV will be IV, not a Windows version unfortunately.. Regards,
SYSOP...
