It's a red fox (Vulpes rubris, IIRC), curled around a globe. Even
purblind moi can see that.

Yes, and I see what you mean. You CAN "change icon" on the Quick
Launch area, and on the desktop shortcut, but the new icons DON'T
display on the titlebar or in the taskbar when minimized. The
Vista version of Firefox does, however, have a choice of three
icons embedded in firefox.exe.
