No catch! I have no stake in talking anybody into doing this, nor has it
occurred to me, until today, to try. I'm not even trying to talk *you* into it,
Bri. It just occurred to me that utilities like these would be a boon to v3
users, that's all. No skin off my firmly-planted-in-version-4 teeth if they
never materialize.

You needn't go anywhere near Help. Just write a pair of freestanding programs,
encode and decode, to be launched with a RUN command. Users who collect their
XPL in a .HLP file will know how to add your programs if they so desire.
Anyway, glad you think it sounds like fun. If you love writing XPL, it *will
be* fun. I thoroughly enjoyed writing the Quoted-printable and Base64
encode/decode modules for U2 (XPLCODE is Robert's brainchild). No doubt about
it, you'll have a grand time with this.
