When your message came to me, the subject was "installation problem", the
body of the message was blank, and the "happy99.exe" was attached. This
dialogue ensued in my mind:
"Hmmm. . . . Must be a virus."
"But Catlyn's a nice person! Why would she send a virus?"
"Nevertheless. Delete it."
Done.
In general, it's VERY WISE never to run a program attached to an email
unless you know (1) who sent it (2) why they sent it (3) what it is.
Especially these days, when email is being used for all kinds of scummy
reasons.
