I was referring to 10,000 R.P.M. 10K and 15K speed
drives had been the province of SCSI high-performance
drives (for those situations where only a Ferrari will
do), but Western Digital introduced a "Raptor" line of
SATA 10K HDDs a while back. I haven't heard of any
that reached the 15K level yet, though.
