Calling from Clearwater, FL (part of the Tampa/St. Petersburg metro area),
where there is much salt air corrosion of phone lines and outdoor equipment,
and having a semi-party line type system being installed county-wide, instead
of all private lines - there has been no problem using this BBS. My modem is a
simple, old 1200 baud unit.
