Mac and Xy

Fred,
Thanks for this. Vm Fusion is what I'm considering. Running an XP box under
emulation. I understand that it's fast (from what I saw running on my
friend's Mac), and I'm very attracted to being able to take snapshots of
the whole system, instead of relying on Win's System Restore, which
destroyed me this time round.

I searched for "parallels" and "VMware," two emulators for the Mac. There
are also (limited) ways to run XY using "DosBox," an emulator built for
running games. I and several others have contributed posts relating to
running XY on a Mac. Currently, I use the VMware emulator with WinXP for a
complete, U2-and-all XY experience. FW.

I'm interested in getting a Mac and using Xy on it. Could you forward to
me either the search you used or the info you found? Forget it if it's a
lot of trouble.

It is useful: yesterday I found information on using XY on a Mac. Thanks
to RH for this resource. FW

Hello All.
XySearch is up and running again, and updated to yesterday:

It needs a bit massaging, to rid extraneous headers introduced
by
<http://freelists.orghttp://freelists.orgfreelists.org
and to make sure that lines wrap correctly
(<http://freelists.orghttp://freelists.orgfreelists.org
does not auto-wrap lines the way CCAT did).
But it works well.
Hope it's useful.
