I have used this printer also, with both XY III & XY4.

Last month, I bought a refurbished HP Desk Jet, for about $100 from J&R
with both parallel and USB ports. It works great with XY 4 (and
probably with XYIII, though I haven't tested). It is ... HPDJ 6100 or
6200 model, and uses same printer driver I used for HPDJ648 (which I
downloaded from XyWwwebb site or XyWrite.com a couple years ago). Does
automatic two-sided printing, too.
