Jon,
I would need a step-by-step with NIRCMD. I think that was underlying
Carl's CLIP frame that was working in Win7 under XP Mode, but if
there is a way to make it work with VDos please elaborate.
VCLIP use NIRCMD, too, and it works fine in vDos. The problem I'm
seeing with VCLIP is that it's too damn complicated to set up. I'm
going to start from scratch and try to find a simpler way.
NIRCMD, by the way, is a great Windows tool, and U2 has a number of
routines that allow you to do some handy things -- shutdown, reboot,
put the computer to sleep, DeFined-text-to-speech -- from the Xy4
CMline. In fact, anything that NIRCMD can do from the CMD prompt can
be done from the CMline if desired.
Anyway, let me revisit VCLIP. There must be an easier way to do it in
vDos that provides bidirectional Ctrl-V / Ctrl-C functionality between
Xy and Windows.
