Hah! The "corporate LAN" was three PCs, two running 98 initial release,
one 95 C, when this was set up. You cannot imaging what a
hole-in-the-corner, side-of-the-foot operation this is. The office is
only open three and a half days a week, and there are NO full-time
employees. I think they just stuck every protocol there was on the NIC,
just to be sure.
NT5/w2k does support IPX/SPX; the MS converter is called "Client Service
for NetWare".
Aha! That is useful to know. (Why cannot the corporations agree on a
common nomenclature?) Many thanks.
