Harry, this responds to your question about why when you try SE it
expands to the whole original command by giving you se *.*/word/
instead of se /word/. You also say that use of va$se also shows the
whole original command.
The answer is way beyond me. Carl can probably help. I'm such a novice
that I am grateful if something works at all, much less how it works
or whether there is another way for it to work. The quirky SE works
for me like I want it to in XY 4. Now I need a way for something like
it to work in Xy 3+. Any ideas?
