Re: Overstrike Character

This is controlled in the printer file, under the Attributes section. Look for the commented heading "Attribute definitions". Each setting starts with "AT:_______" where "______" is the name of the attribute being defined. Printer files vary, so the INSERT and DELETE attributes might be spelled out or abbreviated. Similarly, the character being used for DELETE mode might be represented differently depending on the printer file. So I can't tell you exactly how to change it once you've found it. Perhaps you could post to the list what the attribute "code" is once you've found it.

Gentlemen:
I have a requirement (based on the Florida law) to prepare material
using the REDLINE function in XYWrite. The problem is the requirement
is that the overstrike character (for deletions) is to be the hyphen
rather than the slash.
Can anyone tell me how to change the overstrike character?

Anne Putnam: The same question for NB as I use it at times also.
 Thanks
